I don't understand what you want to say. The image files you apparently downloaded do not contain any virus (as is written in the description, the virus was removed from the boot sector) so there is no way it could 'mess with your computer' in any way.
You are apparently not aware that archive.org scans all uploads and if a virus is detected, the upload will be deleted immediately.
What the MAME team does with the image files I have no control over, please take your complains to mamedev.org for that..
But you can be proud that you managed to infect your PC with that virus, because to do that you need to
a) recreate the IMG files from the raw KryoFlux dumps,
b) manage to find a floppy drive, a working floppy disk, and write them back to a physical disk,
c) manage to boot your computer with that disk still in the drive, and
d) somehow made the virus work on a Windows NT based operating system, while it is known that the virus in its original form can only run under DOS..
So, all things considered, I'm not sure what you are trying to say here..
