Adobe FrameMaker 11 Trial Free Download

FrameMaker has a strong legacy, a solid presence right now, and a lot of potential for the future. To that end, I’ll review the product based on my experiences. Please, do take the time to read this and reply to me by email or in person with your wish list for a long and healthy future of the product. This is a pretty big upgrade and means that I can’t do all of FrameMaker 11 justice in a single review AND explore all the new features, but I’ll touch on many. Most of my focus will be on the overall interface and ease of use.
I suggest you download a copy and work with it. See how Adobe continues to breathe life back into this flagship product in the technical communication space. It’s also available as part of the Technical Communications Suite, making it (wait for it) a sweet deal (sorry..). For a reasonable price you get a bunch of tools (my personal favourite, outside of FrameMaker of course, has to be Captivate). If you don't have a serial number, you can try FrameMaker for free. The trial period offers you the fully functional version of the product for 30 days. FrameMaker 2017 trials are 'try and buy', allowing you to evaluate individual products or editionsand then convert the installed trial to a full version. You can convert from a trial to a full version atany time by either purchasing a copy of the product or signing up for a subscription. If you purchasea copy, enter its serial number in the product screen where prompted.

Install fonts into a default system font directory. If the installer finds older versions of these fonts in the default system font directory, it will uninstall the older versions, and save them to a new directory. The default system font directory is:

The older fonts will be saved in the new directory:

Windows: :Program FilesCommon FilesAdobeSavedFontscurrent

This new directory will also contain a file named 'Read Me.html' which lists the saved fonts, and the version numbers of the new and of the old font files.

You can re-install the older fonts by deleting the new font files from the default system font directory, and moving the old files back into that directory.

Adobe’s single user license allows installation of a single product license on two machines (such as one work machine and one home machine) provided the software is used by the same individual and not concurrently on both machines.

If you want to install the product on a third computer, you must first deactivate the software on one computer. To deactivate, choose Help > Deactivate / Sign Out.
